Heavy fog for the week leading up to the attack hid the coming assault from the Britannian officers as their patrols away from Gibraltar were limited. The Admiral on-board his flag ship Weser, an Elbe class Fleet Carrier, left the port of Rabat and headed north towards the Rock, where the battlegroup Brandon, under the command of Rear Admiral Sir Patrick O'Neill and Rear Admiral Lachlan MacTavish's Battlegroup Robert of the Royal Navy's Med fleet were stationed, and where Vice Admiral Sir Justin Smalling-Bryce's flagship, the Majesty class dreadnought Perecles was sat in port under repair. The Knights would have to hobble the robots weapon systems to allow for increased speed and manoeuvrability to keep up with the mighty ships of the Iron fleet. Without the permission and support of his superiors, he spoke with Captain-Brother Thadeus Kröeler of the Teutonic Order to loan him a quad of the Teutonic's Metzger AUSF Battle Robots to assist in the assault and garrison of Gibraltar, as he had no troop carriers available to him, the Knights on board the Battle Robots would have to do until such time as assistance could be received from Prussia and his superiors. On April 21st 1872, KonteradmiralKarloff Von Rosntenberger, officer of the Prussian Imperial Mediterranean Sea Iron Fleet, received reports that the Britannian Military had left the Royal Navy yard at Gibraltar and the Rock itself without adequate protection, in their attempt to dislodge the Imperial Bond from it's positions of power in the Med.
